The Nations mural gives me all the feels. I love seeing Mr. Lee Estes looking over the neighborhood. Mr. Estes is 91-years-old and has called the Nations home since the late 1920s. Australian artist, Van Helten, created this 15-story painting of Mr. Estes and two young boys as a nod to the past and to the future of the neighborhood.

If you’re looking for a great date night head over to 51st Kitchen and Bar. They are a wonderful American bistro with an outdoor patio and bar and the cutest dog park! You can bring your pups to the park and enjoy a drink while they play!

I love having the new Frothy Monkey in the neighborhood! They opened a gorgeous space at the end of 51st Ave, right next to the equally amazing Nicky's Coal Fired in the Stocking 51 building. This location offers breakfast, brunch (yes, brunch everyday until 5PM) lunch, dinner and of course Nashville’s best coffee!

The owners of the Nations Bar and Grill acquired the iconic "Nations" sign along with the former auto repair shop. They have brought light back to the sign and a perfect 'hang-out' spot to the neighborhood!

Headquarters is a coffee shop nestled into a 9-foot wide space on Charlotte Pike. It's a cozy little space with amazing coffee and treats. If it's a nice day be sure to head back to the back patio, it's seriously so dreamy!

I love Three Corners Coffee! It's a roomy coffee shop with breakfast sandwiches, pastries, espresso and ice cream! The owner also owns Cool Stuff, Weird Things so you can find the same cool, funky style in Three Corners!

Thistle Farms just opened up The Café at Thistle Farms and I couldn't be more excited about it! Not only is their food amazing and their café gorgeous but it also employs women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, and addictions. I'm so excited to continue to watch this company grow!

Being a Mississippi girl, and more importantly, my grandparents being from Corinth, MS the Slug burger is near and dear to my heart. So when one opened up right outside of the Nations I might have freaked out a bit! Stop by, or drive-through for old fashion burgers, bbq, slug burgers (Friday only) and homemade shakes!

EiO and The Hive is locally sourced and organically focused and features healthy comfort foods. As you can see in the photos below their decor (and beehive wallpaper) they have focused on not only providing beautiful food, but also a beautiful atmosphere!

Bobbie's Dairy Dip has been serving the best soft served ice cream and burgers for more than 60 years! My personal favorite is the hand-dipped, soft served ice cream..with extra sprinkles, of course ;)
